For the displaced — and the pre-emptive
You saw it coming. Now build something AI can't take.
If your work is being done by software — or you can see the day it will be — the answer isn't another desk job one rung along. It's a hands-on, local trade that needs a person, pays quickly, and stays yours. We publish the manual for exactly that.
Why this, why now
The safe-looking jobs moved. The ladder didn't.
For twenty years the advice was to get off the tools and into an office. That advice is ageing badly. The work that's proving durable is the work that was never really at risk: physical, local, relationship-based trades. They were always real businesses — we just write down exactly how to run one, and hand you the AI to run it lean.
Straight answers
The questions you're actually asking.
I've been made redundant from an office job. What can I actually do?
Start a hands-on local trade that AI and offshoring cannot touch — window cleaning, gutter clearing, end-of-tenancy cleaning, gardening. These need a person on site, pay quickly, and can be started with a few hundred pounds. Our manuals give you the UK-accurate, step-by-step build for each one.
I have a redundancy payment or some pension money. Is this a sensible use of it?
These trades are deliberately low-cost to start, so you risk a small kit rather than a large lump sum. You can begin part-time while you decide, keep your savings intact, and scale only once the work is proving itself. The manual is £47, not a course costing thousands.
Am I too late, or too old, to start?
No. Hands-on trades reward reliability and good customer service far more than youth or tech skills. Many of the most successful operators came to it later, from other careers. The AI toolkit does the parts a computer is good at, so you don't need to be technical.
Isn't AI going to take these jobs too?
AI is very good at desk tasks — writing, analysis, admin — which is exactly why those jobs are changing. It cannot climb a ladder, clear a gutter or reassure a customer at their front door. That physical, local, human work is the point: it is the income AI can't take.
